A proposition from the executive to raise bowling subscriptions by £5 was passed unanimously.

At a well attended Bowling Meeting, the following team captains were elected:

Regrettably, due to a lack of players, it was decided to withdraw from the Ludlow League.

County Cup
Scott Harries's Premier team had a good run but lost in the final to St Georges at Meole Brace. Match card.
President's Day
Congratulations to Tom McGill on winning the President's Day Cup, defeating Tony Steadman in the final. Eleven bowlers entered the competition and twenty five members had tea.
August
Captain's Day
Congratulations to Pete Driver on winning the Captain's Day Cup. Pete beat Brian Walters 21-20 in the final. In the Arthur Greatwich Trophy, competed for by first round losers, Rob Renke defeated Tony Steadman 21-9 in the final.
Seniors Cup Success
Well done to Geoff Carnell's Seniors team on winning the Division 2 Knockout Cup. In the final held on the new No.2 green at Wrockwardine Wood, they beat Madeley Cricket Club's C team with five winners and by 37 shots. Best winners were John Palmer 21-3 and Geoff himself 21-7, almost running out from 6-1 down.

More Seniors Cup Success
More congratulations to Geoff Carnell and the Division 2 Seniors team on completing the League Cup and League Championship double with a fine 7-1 win in the final game away at Charlton.
Seniors Charity Cup
Commiserations to Russ Morris and the Seniors Division 1 team on finishing runners-up in the Charity Cup for the second successive year. In this year's final, they suffered an 11 shot defeat at Sinclair by Donnington Wood despite wins from the captain himself and Ken Jenkins.

Club Doubles
Well done to Rob Renke & Pam Smith on winning the club doubles on Sunday October 6th. In a wet final, they beat Geoff Carnell & Wayne Kelly 21-7. Sixteen members took part.
