Club Overview

The Bylet Bowling Club was founded in 1884 and occupies an island in the River Severn in Bridgnorth, UK.

We play 'Crown Green' bowls and have two greens. The club has sixteen different teams which play in a number of local leagues:
Shropshire Premier League (Friday evenings)
Mid-Shropshire League (Friday and Monday evenings)
Dudley Building Society League (Saturday afternoons)
Highley League (Tuesday evenings)
Ludlow League (Thursday evenings)
Mid-Shropshire Senior Citizens League (Wednesday afternoons)
Telford Ladies League (Monday afternoons).

In addition, during the close season, we play indoor short-mat bowls in the clubhouse as well as darts, dominoes and crib. The club also holds a number of social functions details of which can be found on the events page.
